Government Employees Strike Over Allowances

Government Employees Strike Over Allowances

Government employees in two different states, Balochistan and Chhattisgarh, are protesting because they are not happy with their allowances and other benefits.

In Balochistan, they plan to stop working on December 30 and 31 to show their dissatisfaction.

They are also upset because the government wants to merge the Levies Force, which helps with security, with the police.

The Levies Force doesn't agree with this merger.

In Chhattisgarh, around 450,000 employees are on a three-day strike starting from December 25.

They have many demands, like getting their allowances on time, better pay scales, and regular jobs for temporary staff.

The government has not yet responded to their demands.

The protests are causing disruptions in government work, but essential services like health will still be available.
