NSS Volunteers Uplift Children of Brick Kiln Workers
Some volunteers are helping kids whose parents work at brick factories.
These kids often don't get to go to school or have enough food.
The volunteers started a school right near the factories to teach them.
They also helped the kids get into real schools.
Now, lots of these kids are going to school and getting the things they need.
The volunteers still help the kids with food, clothes, and fun things like sports and field trips.
NSS volunteers at Balagarh College are working to improve the lives of children of migratory brick kiln workers.
These children often lack education, food, clothing, and shelter due to their parents' work.
A school, Biplobi Bhupati Majumdar School, was established at a brick kiln site to provide education.
All 57 children initially enrolled in the school were successfully admitted to Ashutosh Smriti Mandir Primary School.
Over 500 children have been admitted to local schools, with NSS volunteers continuing to support their needs.
