Navi Mumbai Faces 18-Hour Water Cut on November 4 for Maintenance
Imagine Navi Mumbai's water pipes are like roads that need fixing.
On November 4th, workers need to stop the water, like closing down a road for repairs, for about 18 hours.
This is so they can connect new pipes and put in new valves, which will help make sure everyone gets water smoothly in the future.
Areas like Belapur, Nerul, and Vashi will not have water from 9 in the morning until 3 the next morning.
After the work, water will come back on, but it might be a bit less strong for a little while.
People are asked to save water during this time.
Navi Mumbai will experience an 18-hour water supply cut on November 4.
The shutdown is scheduled from 9 am on November 4 to 3 am on November 5.
The water cut is necessary for essential maintenance, including installing new connections and valves on the city's water pipeline network.
Approximately 10 CIDCO nodes, including Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, and Kharghar, will be affected.
Water supply is expected to resume with potentially low pressure during morning and evening hours after the maintenance work.
