Sandbar Unveils Stream Ring for Whisper-to-Text Notes
Imagine a special ring you wear on your finger that's like a secret note-taker!
When you have an idea, you can just whisper it to the ring.
The ring has a tiny microphone and speaker and uses smart computer help to turn your whisper into words.
These words then show up on an app on your phone, like a written note you can save.
It’s a way to quickly save ideas without having to stop what you're doing to type on your phone.
The ring can also help you control music, like pausing or changing the volume just by tapping it.
The company says it's private and doesn't listen all the time.
You can even teach its helper voice to sound like you.
It's designed to be comfortable and last all day on one charge.
Sandbar has launched the Stream Ring, a wearable device that transcribes whispered notes to text.
The ring allows users to capture thoughts by whispering, with transcriptions appearing in an iOS app.
It also functions as a basic music controller, with functions for play/pause, skip, and volume.
An AI assistant called Inner Voice can respond and be customized to the user's voice.
The Stream Ring is water-resistant with an all-day battery life and is priced from $249.
