Man Detained at Mumbai Airport for Forged Seaman's Book
Imagine someone trying to sneak onto a ship with a fake ID, but instead of an ID, it was a fake Seaman's Book.
A 23-year-old man in Mumbai tried to do just that, hoping to fly to Istanbul.
He had a fake document with stamps to make it look like he could work on ships.
The airport officers noticed something was off and caught him.
The man had paid someone to create the fake documents, including fake stamps.
This is similar to using a fake passport to try and travel somewhere, but this was a fake work permit book.
