Goa records highest tourist footfall in 2025

Goa had the most tourists ever in 2025, with over 1.08 crore visitors.

This includes more than 5 lakh foreign tourists.

The Goa government is working hard to make sure tourism helps local people, the environment, and the economy.

They are focusing on different types of tourism, like flights and cruise ships.

The number of tourists has been growing steadily since the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new Manohar International Airport is also helping more people visit Goa.

However, some people worry that too many tourists might hurt the environment and make life harder for local people.
