Fourteen Companies Face ₹2,931 Crore Shareholder Lock-In Expiry

Some investors in 14 companies had to wait before they could sell certain shares.

Those waiting periods end on three days this week: October 12, 15 and 16.

When a lock-in ends, the shares are allowed to be traded.

That does not mean the owners will sell them immediately.

Altogether, shares worth ₹2,931 crore become eligible to trade, based on prices from the previous Friday.

SBI Funds Management accounts for the largest amount, about ₹1,160 crore.

Ten of the companies’ shares are above their issue prices, while four are below.

The dates and share estimates were reported by Nuvama Alternative & Quantitative Research.
