Telangana, Dell Launch uDaan to Train Youth for Tech Jobs
Telangana is starting a programme called uDaan with Dell Technologies.
It will teach 5,500 students useful technology skills.
The lessons will take three months and happen at 25 centres.
Students will learn about artificial intelligence, cloud computing and other new technologies.
They will also practice skills that can help them find work.
The programme will try to include young people from rural areas.
Its goal is to connect school learning with industry experience.
Students may then have pathways to jobs, apprenticeships or starting businesses.
Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge and Dell Technologies signed an MoU to implement the uDaan programme.
The programme will train 5,500 students through three-month courses at 25 centres across Telangana.
Training will cover artificial intelligence, cloud computing, electronics manufacturing, emerging technologies and digital skills.
The initiative will include industry exposure and employability preparation, with special attention to rural students and youth.
The curriculum will be developed by IIT Delhi, with the programme aiming to connect education and skills training to jobs, apprenticeships and entrepreneurship.
