Panel Proposes Direct RRTS Link: Delhi Airport to Jewar
A government committee wants to build a fast train line, the RRTS, to connect Delhi's main airport (IGIA) with the new airport in Jewar.
This will make it easier for people in the area to travel between the two airports.
They also want to make sure the trains don't make too much noise and that there are plans to help people if they get sick or have an emergency.
This way, more people can easily use the train and the airports.
Parliamentary committee recommends a direct RRTS corridor between Delhi's IGIA and Jewar airport.
This aims to connect the two major airports in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The committee wants a high-speed transit option for commuters in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad.
Concerns were raised about noise and vibrations from the trains along the Delhi-Meerut route.
The committee also confirmed staff training and hospital support for emergencies along the corridors.
