Pakistan Supports China on Arunachal Pradesh Claim
Pakistan recently said they support China's claim that Arunachal Pradesh, a state in India, belongs to China.
This comes after China said that Arunachal Pradesh is part of their territory, which they call 'Zangnan'.
India strongly disagreed and said that Arunachal Pradesh is and always will be a part of India.
The whole thing started when an Indian woman from Arunachal Pradesh was detained in a Chinese airport.
Some people think Pakistan is supporting China to get back at India for some past remarks.
Pakistan's Foreign Ministry issued a statement supporting China's claim on Arunachal Pradesh on 5th December 2025.
China claims Arunachal Pradesh is part of its territory, calling it 'Zangnan' (Southern Tibet).
India strongly rejects China's claim, asserting Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India.
The incident was triggered by the detention of an Indian woman from Arunachal Pradesh in Shanghai.
Pakistan's support for China may be a response to India's recent remarks about Sindh.
