Mancherial Centralized Kitchen Begins Breakfast for 49,104 Students

A large kitchen has been built in Mancherial to make breakfast for students.

It will feed 42,450 schoolchildren and 6,654 junior college students each day.

The kitchen can make food for about 50,000 people.

Meals will be sent to schools and colleges in three districts.

Vehicles will carry the hot food in special boxes.

The food will be vegetarian and made using machines and clean water.

Students will receive different breakfasts on different days, such as idli, dosa and poori.

The programme is meant to help students study without being hungry.

Officials are also considering adding lunch later.
