ISRO Aims for 7 Missions by March 2026, Including Gaganyaan's First Uncrewed Flight
India's space agency, ISRO, has exciting plans for the near future.
They aim to launch a total of seven rockets into space before March 2026.
Among these, they are working on a very important human spaceflight program called Gaganyaan.
Before sending astronauts, ISRO will conduct three practice missions without people.
The first of these practice flights is called the 'G1 Mission' and is expected to happen by March 2026.
This is all part of a bigger goal set by the Prime Minister for ISRO to launch 50 rockets over the next five years.
The chairman of ISRO, V Narayanan, announced these plans after a recent successful satellite launch.
He expressed confidence that the ISRO team is ready for this challenging task.
ISRO plans to launch seven missions by the end of March 2026.
The Gaganyaan program will include three uncrewed missions before the crewed flight.
The first uncrewed Gaganyaan mission ('G1 Mission') is targeted for launch by March 2026.
These launches align with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for ISRO to conduct 50 launches in five years.
Future missions include commercial satellite launches, PSLV missions for NSIL, and technology development missions.
