Malda's Rs 900-crore NH-12 Highway Revamp Awaits Centre's Green Light

People in Malda travel on a big road called National Highway 12.

This road is very busy, and sometimes there are traffic jams and accidents.

The government has a plan to make this road bigger and better.

The plan will cost about 900 crore rupees, which is a lot of money.

A new bridge called the Kaliachak flyover will be built so cars can drive over traffic.

There will also be safe places for people to cross the road and bright street lights.

The person in charge of this area, called an MP, asked the national government to approve the money.

The government minister said the plan will be approved within the next three months.

After that, workers will be chosen to build the new road.

When it is finished, traveling in Malda will be safer, faster, and easier for everyone.
