Design Democracy 2026 Announces Fourth Edition in Hyderabad
Design Democracy is a big festival in India where people show off cool ideas for homes, buildings, furniture, lights and art.
This year the festival is happening for the fourth time.
It will take place at a large exhibition centre in Hyderabad, a city in India.
More than 200 companies will show their designs, and over 150 experts will give talks.
Visitors can walk through four special halls full of creative things to see.
There are also special shows, like one about taking care of the planet and another about beautiful fabrics.
People can even enjoy cafes and craft bars at the festival.
Around 30,000 visitors are expected to come.
The people who started the festival say great design can inspire people and bring them together.
Design Democracy announced its fourth edition, to be held 18-20 September 2026 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.
The festival will bring together over 200 leading design brands, 150+ speakers and an expected 30,000+ visitors from across India.
Four halls — Canvas, Muse, Atelier and Alchemy — will host brands including The Charcoal Project, Beautiful Homes by Asian Paints and Gauri Khan Designs.
Curated exhibitions include the Museum of Telangana, Gallery of Sustainability, Precious Objects, The Art Edit and the new textile showcase The Fabric of Design.
DD Talks and DD Focus will feature keynotes and panel discussions with speakers including Sussanne Khan, Ravinder Reddy, Sandeep Khosla and Ankon Mitra.
