Teachers' committee demands PRC implementation, pension restoration in Khanapur

Teachers in Khanapur got together with a group called the United School Teachers' Struggle Committee.

They went to see an official named Sujatha Reddy and gave her a letter listing their problems.

The teachers want the government to follow a pay report starting from July 1, 2023.

They also want their delayed salary increases, called DA installments, to be paid.

They asked for the old pension plan to come back instead of the new one.

They do not want schools to be closed down.

They want more teachers hired and better school buildings and supplies.

The teachers said that if nothing changes, they will hold small protests on August 19.

They also plan to hold a big protest in the city of Hyderabad on August 29.

They hope the government will listen and fix these problems.
