Human Rights Journalism Awards Recognize Journalists

Every year, the Indian American Muslim Council gives out awards to journalists who write important stories.

These awards are for people who write about human rights and religious freedom.

This year, Rokibuz Zaman, who writes for Scroll, won an award.

Other journalists also won awards for their work, including stories about fake police actions, the Delhi riots, and how some people are treated differently because of their religion.

The awards show how important it is to write about these topics.
