Kishan Reddy Rejects Revanth’s Charge Over US Trip

Kishan Reddy Rejects Revanth’s Charge Over US Trip

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said the central government treated Telangana unfairly by stopping his planned trip to the United States.

Union minister G. Kishan Reddy disagreed and said foreign trips need official permission.

He said the proposed trip from London to the US did not meet the required rules.

He also said permission had previously been given for Revanth to visit Harvard and London.

BJP leader N. Ramchander Rao said officials were concerned about people and organisations Revanth might meet in the US.

Kishan Reddy asked Revanth to explain reports about a possible meeting with New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

The BJP said the decision was an administrative matter, not political discrimination.

Kishan Reddy also criticised Revanth’s government over education promises and Telangana’s development.

He demanded that the state pay ₹55,000 crore in dues to Singareni.
