India is now the biggest user of AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
Over 145 million people in India use ChatGPT every month, and 105 million use Gemini.
This is because many people in India have access to cheap internet and free subscriptions to these apps.
It's good for users because they can learn and do things faster, and it's good for the companies that make these chatbots because they get lots of data to improve their apps.
However, it might be harder for Indian startups to compete with these big global companies.
Some users are also concerned about data privacy and have opted out of sharing their data for AI training.
