Jamie Lee Curtis reveals she hated filming New Girl

Jamie Lee Curtis is a famous actor who has been in many TV shows and movies.

She recently told people at an event called NBCUniversal's Summer Backlot Experience that she did not like making a funny TV show called New Girl.

She said the show itself is great and very funny.

But making it felt like making a movie.

On a movie set, there is no audience laughing, and it is very quiet.

She said that quiet feeling was awful for her and not fun.

She prefers making shows where a live audience laughs along, which are called multi-camera sitcoms.

She learned to love that style when she made a show called Anything But Love.

Even though she did not love the experience, she still played a character named Joan Day on New Girl for several years.

Now she is helping make a new comedy called Newlyweds.
