Why Gen Z is embracing paranormal, thriller and fantasy fiction

Many young people today love books that are spooky, magical, or full of mystery.

These kinds of stories are called paranormal, fantasy, and thriller fiction.

Lots of young readers first found these books through series like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson.

Now they keep looking for more books like those.

Websites such as TikTok, and a special book community called BookTok, help them discover new stories.

Young readers also enjoy books based on old myths and folktales.

A 21-year-old named Garvit Arora read a book called 'Tell Me Your Dreams'.

He said it was so full of surprises that he could not stop reading.

Every chapter made him want to know what would happen next.

That is why many young people are falling in love with these exciting stories.
