Israel Builds Massive Earthen Barrier Across Gaza
Israel has been building a big earthen wall across the Gaza Strip.
This wall is more than 23 kilometers long and is being built in areas where Palestinian communities used to live.
The wall is near a line called the yellow line, which was supposed to be a temporary boundary after a ceasefire agreement.
However, the ceasefire process is not going well, and many Palestinians are worried that this temporary line might become a permanent border.
The Israeli military says the wall is to keep people safe, but Palestinians see it as a way to control more of Gaza.
Most of Gaza's population is now living in crowded tent camps because many buildings have been destroyed.
The war started when Hamas attacked Israel, and since then, many people have been killed on both sides.
The future of Gaza is uncertain, and the wall is making things even more complicated.
Israel has built over 23km of earthen barriers across Gaza, consolidating control over more than half of the territory.
The barrier is near the yellow line, a temporary boundary from the ceasefire agreement, but its expansion raises fears of permanent partition.
Satellite imagery shows rapid construction, with sections expanding quickly in recent weeks.
Most of Gaza's population is now living in overcrowded tent camps due to widespread demolitions and destruction of buildings and farmland.
The ceasefire remains stalled, with over 1,100 Palestinians killed since it took effect, and talks on disarming Hamas making little progress.
