Goldstein and Daley to Helm New Star Trek Film
Two movie directors, Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, are going to make a new Star Trek movie.
They are known for making fun movies like Dungeons & Dragons and helping write Spider-Man.
This new movie won't be like the older ones with Chris Pine.
It will be a totally new story all by itself.
It's taken a long time to get another Star Trek movie made because other ideas didn't work out.
But now, Goldstein and Daley are taking on the mission to bring Star Trek back to the big screen with their own fresh ideas.
They are good at making movies that are funny and exciting.
Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley have been chosen to write and direct the next Star Trek film.
This new movie will be a standalone story and will not continue the narrative from the JJ Abrams reboot films.
Fans should not expect Chris Pine or the cast from the previous reboot series to return.
The film is intended to give the Star Trek franchise a fresh start on the big screen.
Previous attempts to launch a new Star Trek movie since 2016, including those by Quentin Tarantino, Noah Hawley, and Matt Shakman, did not come to fruition.
