DMDK to Review AIADMK Alliance Over Rajya Sabha Seat
The DMDK party, founded by the late Captain Vijayakanth, is considering whether to stay in its alliance with the AIADMK.
This is because the AIADMK hasn't given DMDK a promised seat in the Rajya Sabha, which is a part of the Indian Parliament.
DMDK was promised a Rajya Sabha seat and five Lok Sabha seats.
The DMDK will decide in January 2026, before the next state elections.
