Mumbai Metro Lines 9 & 2B Phases to Open by Dec 31
The Mumbai Metro is getting two new lines, 9 and 2B, which will open by the end of this year.
Line 2B will start with a part of its route, from Diamond Garden to Mandale, which is about 5.3 kilometers long.
This new line will help people travel more easily between different parts of the city, like Mira-Bhayandar and Chembur.
The metro officials are testing the new line to make sure it's ready on time.
Mumbai Metro Lines 9 and 2B phases to open by December 31.
Line 2B will run from DN Nagar in Andheri West to Mandale in Mankhurd.
Initial operational section of Line 2B is 5.3 km between Diamond Garden and Mandale.
Trial runs for the new section are already underway.
The new lines aim to provide direct connectivity to Mira-Bhayandar and Chembur.
