England-Australia Test in India Considered

England and Australia, who have been playing the Ashes series since 1882, are considering the idea of playing a Test match in India.

Cricket Australia's CEO, Todd Greenberg, has expressed optimism about the idea, citing India's large market and strong cricket fanbase.

However, there are challenges such as scheduling conflicts and the need for more days in the cricket calendar to accommodate such a match.

The next Ashes series is scheduled for 2027 in England, and the two teams will also face off in Melbourne in March to mark the 150th anniversary of their first meeting.
