BJP Workers Lock Candidate in Nagpur
In Nagpur, some BJP workers were very upset and locked their own candidate, Kisan Gawande, inside his house.
This happened because the party leaders told Gawande to withdraw his nomination for the upcoming elections.
The workers thought Gawande was the official candidate because of some forms the party gave him.
They were angry and didn't want him to withdraw.
After a long time, a senior leader talked to them and they finally let Gawande out.
Gawande said he was okay with the party's decision and would support them.
He also said he wouldn't run as an independent candidate.
BJP workers locked candidate Kisan Gawande in his house to prevent him from withdrawing his nomination for the Nagpur Municipal Corporation election.
The incident occurred in Prabhag ‘d’ of Ward No 13, Nagpur, on the final day to withdraw nominations.
Gawande's supporters were angry because they believed he was the official party candidate due to the 'AB forms' issued to him.
