SCR Launches Digital and Sustainable Initiatives
South Central Railway (SCR) is making things greener and smarter.
They launched new digital tools like the UCCC, ZIMS, and SIMS to help manage trains better, especially during problems.
The UCCC is like a super control center with big screens that show everything happening, helping them respond to issues quickly.
The ZIMS helps track how trains move between areas.
SIMS provides quick info about stations.
Also, a solar power plant was set up to generate clean energy for the workshop.
These changes should make trains safer and more efficient.
South Central Railway (SCR) launched digital and sustainable initiatives including a Unified Command and Control Centre (UCCC).
The UCCC will improve monitoring and coordination during emergencies using interactive digital displays.
The Zonal Interchange Monitoring System (ZIMS) monitors train interchange performance across SCR's six divisions.
The Station Information Monitoring System (SIMS) offers quick access to key station-related information.
