Belarusian Jailed for 22 Years for Train Attacks in Siberia

A man named Sergei Yeremeyev from Belarus was sent to jail for 22 years.

He was found guilty of putting bombs on two trains in a place called Siberia in Russia.

The bombs went off in November 2023.

The first bomb was on a train going through a very long tunnel, and the second bomb was on a train crossing a bridge.

The explosions caused a lot of damage and stopped train traffic.

The Russian government says he did this because Ukraine's secret service told him to.

He will spend the first five years in jail and then move to a special prison camp.

The damage from the explosions was worth about $1.2 million.
