Mundi Transformer Raises MP Transmission Capacity To 85,488 MVA

MP Transco added a new transformer at a power station in Khandwa.

A transformer helps electricity move through the power network.

The new transformer can handle 50 MVA of additional capacity.

This increased the Mundi Substation’s capacity from 40 MVA to 90 MVA.

It also raised MP Transco’s total transmission capacity in Madhya Pradesh to 85,488 MVA.

The upgrade is intended to support the state’s growing need for electricity.

It strengthens the transmission network in the Nimar region.

MP Transco now operates 417 extra high voltage substations across the state.
