Goa CM Sawant announces 6,000-8,000 new jobs in six months

The leader of Goa, a state in India, made a big promise to the people.

He said the government will create between 6,000 and 8,000 new jobs in the next six months.

These jobs will come from different government departments and will help young people find work.

He spoke about this on Independence Day, a special day for India.

He also talked about new roads and bridges being built in Goa.

One new road, called the Porvorim elevated corridor, will open before a big festival called Ganesh Chaturthi.

Another bridge, called the Borim bridge, will be built in South Goa soon.

He said these projects will make travel easier and reduce traffic.

The leader also said Goa is the first state in India to use a happiness index.

This index checks how happy people are.

He also shared that Tiatr, a traditional theatre form from Goa, is now part of India's cultural heritage list.
