Gold and Silver Prices Stable in Major Indian Cities on November 16
On November 16, the price of gold and silver in big Indian cities stayed pretty much the same.
For example, 10 pieces of 24-carat gold cost around ₹1,23,750, and 10 pieces of 22-carat gold cost about ₹1,13,450.
A kilogram of silver was roughly ₹1,55,950.
This is happening even though the futures prices for gold and silver on India's MCX dropped the day before, on November 15.
These futures prices fell because of what's happening in global markets and hints from the US Federal Reserve about interest rates.
But the everyday prices people see in shops in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and others were steady.
Remember, when you buy jewelry, shops might add extra fees for making it, plus taxes.
