Lion-like animal in Irish woodland revealed to be a dog
People in Ireland thought they saw a lion in the woods!
A truck driver saw it and got scared because it looked like a lion from far away.
Videos of the animal even made some people think it was fake.
The forest manager also thought it looked like a lion with a mane and tail.
This made the police, called Gardai, get involved because a lion is a big deal!
But it turns out, it wasn't a lion at all.
It was actually a dog named Mouse, a big fluffy dog called a Newfoundland.
Mouse's fur was cut in a funny way that made it look like it had a lion's mane and a long tail.
Mouse is now famous for looking like a lion!
A lion-like animal spotted in Irish woodlands was reported to be an African lion.
