Ministry of Culture Shares Tiranga Safari Pictures From Kaimur Hills

India has a special birthday coming up — its 80th Independence Day on August 15, 2026.

To get ready for the celebration, the Ministry of Culture shared beautiful pictures from a place called Kaimur Hills.

The pictures show a 'Tiranga Safari,' a special event where India's national flag, the tricolour, was raised in forests and near a lake.

This is part of a campaign called Har Ghar Tiranga, which encourages people to show the flag.

Kaimur Hills are in the state of Bihar, in the eastern part of a mountain range called the Vindhya Range.

The hills stretch for about 483 kilometres through parts of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

They are home to the Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary, the biggest wildlife sanctuary in Bihar.

The area has forests, waterfalls, and many animals and plants.

The flag flying against the green hills shows India's pride and natural beauty as the country prepares to celebrate.
