BJP Leaders Set 60-Plus Seat Target for Uttarakhand

BJP leaders in Uttarakhand are planning for the 2027 state election.

Ram Madhav told party workers to aim for more than 60 seats.

The state Assembly has 70 seats, and a party needs 36 for a simple majority.

Madhav said winning a third election in a row would make history for the BJP.

Bansuri Swaraj said the party should talk about its governments’ work.

She also accused the Opposition of trying to divide people.

Phanindranath Sharma suggested a target of 63 seats.

The election is expected in early 2027.
