NFR reports 29.3% freight loading rise
The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has been working hard to deliver goods to people who need them.
In November 2025, they moved a lot more stuff than the year before, about 29.3% more.
This is a big deal because it shows that the area's economy is growing.
They moved a lot more cement, fertilizer, coal, and other building materials.
This helps the NFR make more money and shows that more people are building and farming in the area.
The NFR wants to keep improving so they can keep moving more goods efficiently.
NFR achieved a 29.3% increase in freight loading in November 2025 compared to the previous year.
Total freight loading in November 2025 was 0.908 million tonnes.
Cumulative freight loading up to November 2025 was 7.298 million tonnes, a 6.5% increase over the previous year.
Significant increases in loading were seen in cement (405.3%), fertilizer (242.9%), dolomite (99.1%), and coal (460%).
The growth reflects rising economic activity and demand for construction and agricultural materials in the region.
