HCLTech Expands with HPE Telco Acquisition

HCLTech, a big technology company, is buying a part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) that helps phone and internet companies.

This part of HPE works with over one billion devices and helps make phone networks run better.

HCLTech will pay $160 million for this and get 1,500 new workers.

They want to use this to make 5G networks and other technologies better for companies around the world.

The deal needs to be approved by some governments before it can happen, which might take about six months.

HCLTech's stock price went up a little bit when they announced this.
