Global CEOs View India as Bright Investment Spot

A recent survey by PwC shows that many global CEOs are feeling more positive about India's economy.

India has moved up to joint-second place in the list of countries where these CEOs want to invest.

This is higher than the global average, with 77% of Indian CEOs expecting growth in India to improve.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw also shared that international investors see India as a 'bright spot' and a trusted partner for sustainable growth.

He mentioned that India is expected to grow 6-8% in real terms and 10-13% in nominal terms over the next five years.

The government has also simplified business processes, like reducing the time to get telecom tower permissions from 270 days to just 7 days.

However, while this confidence is good news, the actual performance of companies operating in India still needs to catch up to these expectations.
