Mahua Moitra Faces Black-Flag Protest During Bengal Visit

Mahua Moitra, a politician from the Trinamool Congress, visited Chapra for a meeting with party workers.

Some people protested when she was leaving.

They allegedly waved black flags and told her to go back.

Moitra said the protest was supported by a rebel party leader and the BJP.

The rebel leader said people were unhappy with Moitra’s work.

Protesters also accused her of being connected to problems in the area.

They said the protest happened spontaneously and mentioned alleged issues involving Hindu deities.

These accusations could not be independently verified.
