India's Mobile Subscriber Growth Slows in October 2025

In October 2025, India saw a slowdown in the number of new mobile users compared to September 2025.

Reliance Jio, the biggest telecom company, added 2 million users, but this was less than the previous month.

Bharti Airtel did better, adding more users than in September.

However, Vodafone Idea lost 2 million users, which is more than it lost in September.

This happened because Vodafone Idea is having trouble keeping users due to not investing enough in their network and not raising prices.

The overall slowdown in new users is because of these issues at Vodafone Idea.

Jio also led in adding users for broadband services, especially through its AirFiber service.

The total number of broadband users in the country increased slightly.
