Keshav Seeks NH-42 Bypasses, Gadkari Grants In-Principle Approval

Payyavula Keshav asked the national roads minister to improve a road called National Highway-42.

The request is for bypass roads and paved shoulders in and around Uravakonda and nearby villages.

The road section is 71.25 kilometers long and has two lanes.

It goes through residential areas and has sharp bends.

Officials have identified ten places where accidents are a concern.

Nitin Gadkari gave in-principle approval for the proposed work.

The improvements are intended to make travel safer and improve connections in Anantapur district.
