HDFC Capital and CLS Launch ₹1,000 Crore Rental Housing Platform
HDFC Capital Advisors, part of the HDFC Group, has teamed up with Curated Living Solutions (CLS) to create a big rental housing platform in India.
They will spend ₹1,000 crore to build and manage rental homes in cities.
This is because more young people, students, and workers need good places to rent.
CLS already manages over 13,000 beds in India and knows a lot about this type of housing.
The goal is to make rental housing better and more professional in India.
HDFC Capital Advisors and CLS have partnered to create a ₹1,000 crore rental housing platform in India.
The platform will focus on developing, owning, and operating institutional-grade rental housing assets.
The partnership aims to capitalize on long-term demographic and urbanization trends, including workforce and student mobility.
CLS brings extensive development and operational capabilities across co-living, student accommodation, and worker housing segments.
Vipul Roongta, CEO of HDFC Capital, highlighted the importance of rental housing for enhancing mobility for students, young professionals, and migrant workers.
