Vinicius joined Real Madrid in 2018 from his old team in Brazil, Flamengo.

Since then, he has played 375 games, scored 128 goals, and helped his teammates score 100 times.

He has helped Real Madrid win many big trophies, including the Champions League twice and the Spanish league three times.

Real Madrid says Vinicius is one of the most important players in the club's history.

The club has also hired a new coach, Jose Mourinho, and signed several new players for the new season.

One of the new players is a young star from Ivory Coast named Yan Diomande.
