Penélope Cruz Brings Zoya’s Indian Jewellery to TIFF Red Carpet
Penélope Cruz wore jewellery from the Indian brand Zoya at a film festival in Toronto.
She wore a necklace, a ring and a bangle.
The necklace used a large golden stone called heliodor and colourful sapphires.
Its golden colour was inspired by turmeric, which is important in Indian food and traditions.
The ring used a large purple amethyst shaped with Zoya’s special Bloom Cut.
Zoya says the shape was developed after almost a year of testing and careful cutting.
The jewellery comes from a collection inspired by Indian spices, colours, memories and rituals.
Cruz wore the pieces with a white feathered gown by Tamara Ralph.
Zoya hoped the appearance would show the world its own modern Indian design style.
Penélope Cruz wore Tata Group-owned Zoya jewellery at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of La Bola Negra on September 15, 2026.
Her look included Zoya’s Rekindle Necklace, Wildflower Heart Ring and Iconic Lattice Bangle from the brand’s upcoming high jewellery collection.
The Rekindle Necklace features 19 carats of heliodor, yellow and pink sapphires, and required more than 1,200 hours of craftsmanship.
The Wildflower Heart Ring contains a 13-carat amethyst in Zoya’s Bloom Cut, surrounded by pink sapphires and diamonds.
Zoya said the TIFF appearance presented its Indian design language, craft and cultural references to an international luxury audience.
