The Andhra Pradesh government has taken a big step to help farmers and landowners.
They removed five types of land from a list that stopped people from using them.
This list was under a rule called Section 22-A.

They are also using new technology like blockchain to keep records safe.
The chief minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, promised to solve these land issues during his election campaign.
The government will also give out new passbooks to landowners and use AI to reduce land disputes.
They are calling 2026 the Year of Land Reforms and will investigate past land irregularities.
Starting Friday, they will distribute new Pattadar passbooks in Guntur district, with a total of 35,690 passbooks to be given out.
