Kerala Reports Surge in Hepatitis A Cases
Kerala in India is having a lot of Hepatitis A cases.
This is a sickness that makes your liver swell and can make you feel very tired, sick to your stomach, and even turn your skin yellow.
It spreads when people eat or drink things that have tiny germs from poop in them.
Doctors say the best way to stop it is to get a special shot called a vaccine, wash your hands a lot, and make sure your food and water are clean.
Many people get better, but sometimes it can be very serious.
The government is trying to fix the dirty water and teach people how to stay safe.

Outbreaks are caused by contaminated groundwater, poor sanitation, and epidemiological shifts.

Symptoms include fatigue, nausea, jaundice, and abdominal pain, appearing 2-6 weeks after infection.
