Heavy Rain Disrupts Assam-Mizoram Rail Services Through September 10
Heavy rain damaged a railway track connecting Assam and Mizoram.
The damage happened near the section between Jamira and Bairabi.
About 70 metres of track was affected.
Because of this, several trains will not run between September 5 and 10.
Some trains will start at Hailakandi instead of Sairang.
Other trains will stop at Hailakandi instead of going to Sairang.
Repair workers have started fixing the track.
They may need more time because there is no direct road to the damaged place.
