Rahul Gandhi calls BJP-RSS 'bunch of jokers'; BJP hits back
In India, there are two big political parties that often argue with each other.
A leader from the Congress party, named Rahul Gandhi, spoke at a big meeting of his party.
At that meeting, he said the people in the ruling party, the BJP, and its friend the RSS, are "a bunch of jokers."
He said they do not understand India's history or its way of thinking.
He also made fun of the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, saying Mr. Modi thinks being friends with other countries is only about giving hugs.
Rahul Gandhi hugged one of his party friends while he was on stage.
People from the BJP were not happy and said the hug was rude and a new low in public talking.
They also said Rahul Gandhi has been acting with arrogance and not following rules in parliament.
Rahul Gandhi said many people in India are acting like cowards, but his side is fighting against those "jokers."
At the Rachnatmak Congress National Convention, Rahul Gandhi called BJP-RSS members "a bunch of jokers" with no understanding of India.
He hugged a party colleague on stage and mocked PM Narendra Modi's foreign policy, saying Modi is "convinced" that diplomacy is "all about hugging."
The BJP hit back, accusing Rahul Gandhi of disrupting parliamentary proceedings through "arrogance, indiscipline and obstinacy."
Two BJP leaders condemned the stage hug as "vulgar" and a "new low in public discourse."
Rahul Gandhi said the Opposition was fighting people with no grasp of India's philosophy or history, and that many people in India are "behaving like cowards."
