IAF Meets Australian PM at Exercise Pitch Black 2026

The Indian Air Force (IAF) met Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese during the opening ceremony of Exercise Pitch Black 2026 in Darwin, Australia.

This exercise is a big international air combat training event that happens every two years.

It brings together air forces from 19 different countries.

The IAF sent four Rafale aircraft and about 100 air warriors to participate.

The goal is to improve teamwork and share best practices in air combat.

The exercise will run from July 20 to August 7, 2026.

The IAF has participated in this exercise before in 2018, 2022, and 2024.

This event helps countries work together better in the sky and strengthens their defense relationships.
