NSDL, Two Other Stocks See Shareholder Lock-in Periods End

NSDL, Two Other Stocks See Shareholder Lock-in Periods End

Imagine you buy a toy, but the store says you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can play with it.

That's kind of like a lock-in period for stocks.

On Monday, three companies—NSDL, Sri Lotus Developers, and M&B Engineering—will have their waiting periods end for some of their shares.

This means the people who bought these shares earlier can now choose to sell them if they want.

For NSDL, about 7.5 million shares, worth a lot of money, can now be traded.

Sri Lotus Developers and M&B Engineering also have millions of shares becoming available.

It's important to know that just because these shares can be traded doesn't mean they will be sold immediately.

It just gives the owners the option.
