Renova Century Hospitals Leads Bike Rally for Diabetic Foot Care Awareness
Renova Century Hospitals and Harley-Davidson riders teamed up for a bike rally on World Diabetes Day.
They wanted everyone to know that diabetes can cause serious foot problems, like losing a leg.
They said it's important to take care of your feet, look for any issues, and see a doctor early to prevent big problems.
Renova Century Hospitals organized a bike rally for World Diabetes Day to raise awareness on diabetic foot and vascular care.
The rally, titled “Care for Your Legs,” was held in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Harley-Davidson Banjara Chapter.
Participants included the public, fitness enthusiasts, and police, all promoting fitness and early healthcare.
Experts highlighted that diabetic foot complications have a mortality rate and cost comparable to cancer, with a lower limb amputated every 20 seconds due to diabetes.
